Two more folders
Ok, here are the two latest to be completed from the shed...
First we have a folder with a wharncliffe-like blade made from CPM 3V. Tough stuff! So tough, in fact, that I left the finish at a machine, belt finish. The handles are black and blue G10 with titanium liners. This one has a custom-made pocket clip made from titanium for a low-ride in the pocket. Also, the backspacer is made from mokume I made from a stack of quarters; it turned out very nice!
Next is a drop point made from CPM S35VN. The blade has a hand-rubbed finish. This folder is a frame lock, with the frame lock side being made from .125" titanium, and the opposite side has .063" titanium for the liner and black G10 for the handle scale. The backspacer on this one is hammered brass that has had a patina forced with an acid. The pocket clip is custom made from titanium and styled for low-ride carry.
